EEC Board owing to a new CU TR 028/2012 that determines rules for safety usage of explosives and is coming into effect in July has confirmed a list of substances that are subject to certification:
- gunpowder for industrial applications;
- no permissible and ready-made permissible explosive materials of class 1-2 and 3-4 accordingly;
- industrial articles manufactured using brisant explosives;
- detonating fuse cords, ignitions, electric detonators;
- oxidizing agent components that are manufactured using ammonium nitrate (that means those that are intended for manufacturing water-gel or emulsion explosives)
Manufacturers (suppliers) that are engaged in production of pyrotechnics and explosives for defence industry do not have to undergo certification for conformity according to CU TR 028/2012 requirements.
