Ministry of Industry and Trade and Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Russia have developed amendments to procedure for identifying country of origin for products of machine-building industry. It was done to ensure fulfillment of the RF Government Resolution No 656 dd July 14, 2014 that introduces a ban on using some types of products for municipal and state purposes.
According to the new addenda, country of origin will be identified according to the degree at which production capacities are localized in this or that country.
Also the document lists types of machine-building industry products that cannot be used for municipal or state purposes.
Machine building products produced in the Customs Union will have equal conditions for entering tenders for federal acquisition regardless of country of origin.
