Kyrgyzstan has expressed an intention to join the CU member states long ago. For optimization of economic processes and adaptation of base of standards, public authorities and business communities of Kyrgyzstan were consulted regarding the questions of introduction of technical regulations and their practical application in this country. The consultation was two days long – November 20th and 21th, 2014. The representatives of Kyrgyzstan confirmed that it lent great assistance in the course of realization of the plan of Kyrgyzstan joining CU.

One of the most debated problem is the conception of packet application of “food” technical regulations, but its principles were explained by the members of CU. They also analyzed nuances of introduction of the TR CU that regulate safety of:
- milk and dairy products;
- fat-and-oil products;
- meat products;
- dietary supplement etc.;
- vegetable and fruit juices;
- marking of food products.
The representatives of the CU who participated in this arrangement, particularly answered the questions of Kyrgyzstan about the methods of quality rating of products under the control of technical regulations. They also explained the processes of certification and issuing of other kinds of documentation.
