Last year two technical regulations came into force: No 004/2011 that regulates circulation of low-voltage equipment and No 020/2011 that sets requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. Next year GOSTs that assist in correct use of technical regulations Nos 004/2011 and 020/2011 and assessment of compliance of devices covered by their scope of use will become effective.
Procedure for determining compliance of low-voltage equipment is approved by GOST 56017-2014. It includes 7 sections of certification and declaration process description and 14 appendices containing blanks of documents of conformity, orders for carrying out certification and declaration, inspection certificates and other reference material. It is planned that GOST 56017-2014 will come into effect in July 2015 according to Rosstandart Order No 414-ст dd April 25, 2014.
GOST 56029-2014 describes peculiarities of assessing compliance of technical devices that fall within the scope of TR 020/2011. It is planned that the GOST will come into force in September 2015 according to Rosstandart Order No 453-ст dd May 26, 2014.
